Welcome to my blog!!! As you can see by my blog name, I live in Italy and have been there for almost 10 years. I originally came in 1995 to study abroad in Bologna and met my future husband Luca. Fast forward to 2008 and here I am married to Luca with my two Italian girls Melania and Maya.
Thanks to my husband, a fellow blogger, I have decided to document my adventures as a mom, an expat in Italy, an ESL teacher, a traveller, and an amateur cook.
Some of my interests include natural parenting/attachment parenting, natural living, crocheting/knitting, life learning, cooking, gourmet and simple foods, anthropology, languages, nature, books (when I have time) and…hollywood gossip!!! So stay tuned!!!
Hey Peggy!
How are you doing? I am sorry I totally dropped the ball on our communication. Would love to catch up soon and tell you all about Tokyo, which is fantastic! Maybe I could call you sometime- I spend way too much time on the computer at work, recreational email holds zero appeal these days. Melania and Maya are so beautiful. I can’t believe Melania is so big.
Miss hearing your voice,
Amanda
You’re simply great! We have to get in touch more often!
Love to you all.

Hi Peggy,
I am an American living in Italy too. I live in Marotta and work in Osimo. I have been looking on facebook to see if there were any groups about other Americans living in our area, but no luck. I thought it would be nice to meet some other Americans to share experiences in Italy, etc. I would like my kids to be able to meet other Americans and to learn about our culture and speak english too. Anyways, Have a nice day. Greg
Hi Greg,
Wow! Another American in this area! What do you do in Osimo? That is not too far from me.
I’ve considered starting up a playgroup for English speaking families… but requires organization and time. How old are your kids?
You should totally start up a group on FB! I would join!!
Nice to meet you Greg!
Peggy
